Snowboarder Magazine is an international snowboard publication with a incredible sense of humour. Just pick one up and you'll know what I'm talking about. Their website was designed and built from scratch in 8 weeks to reflect the magazine's recent redesign, integrate new social networking platforms, and create a tighter, closer-knit snowboard community. And as Chris Engelsman states below, Snowboarder Magazine was very happy with the results.
It was a pleasure to work with James this past summer. He undestood the direction we wanted to take our site and went to work. He met the tight deadlines, and as a result our site is more successful than ever.

DBFilms is a freelance production company based in Fernie, British Columbia. The company was founded in 2006 by Matt Westcott and is a reflection of his love for film, sport and his roots in East Kootenay mountain culture. Their website is a mix of a portfolio and blog, by utilizing Wordpress as their content management system, Matt is able to update the website himself and can add his latest video projects instantly from anywhere in the world.
I found James to be enthusiastic and very efficient. He listened to what I wanted and was very easy to work with. In the end the website was exactly what I had envisioned.

Commit Snow & Skate is an awesome little shop tucked away in the south-east corner of British Columbia. The store is run by two brothers, Adam & Matt Laurin, who dedicated their lives to the sports of skateboarding, snowboarding, and just recently wakeboarding. They contacted myself to develop a website that reflected the personality of the shop, as well as the town its located in, Fernie. I decided to implement Wordpress as a content management system, so that the brothers themselves could update the site. Commit's website draws huge overseas traffic from tourists looking for info on the destination resort. The website iteself was even featured in a summer edition of the extremely popular Transworld Snowboarding magazine. <october '08>
The website has helped us make the transition to the world wide web with ease and in the process opened doors for our business we never thought possible. We are lucky to have James as our designer and would recommend him to anyone.

The Idea Board was created for a school project, but was essentially born out of the necessity for students in our program to share concepts, ideas, media, and other useful tools. As a closed-circuit social networking site, members are allowed to share anything with each other, and are offered the option to fully customize the look and dynamics of their home page. So user's can arrange feeds chronilogically, alphabetically, by author, or whatever way the feel like it, everything is drag-and-dropable. What's great is that this organizational system is automatically remembered and is restored, next time the user logs in! Go ahead and play around with the concept demo.
We wanted to go out and design something that people would have a lot of fun using. Just wait till we are actually done it!
- Graeme Duckett, Co-developer

After completing Commit's blog & website, an opportunity arose to design and develop a beta e-commerce store. Utilizing PHP and MySQL, I built an online store complete with merchandise tracking and auto product updates. Unfortunately, the project was abandoned and ultimately shelved. Commit is currently debating the logistics of opening an online store.
